Nintendo gamers in South Africa will be spoilt for choice over the coming months. In addition to the Wii receiving a price cut here and Wii Fit Plus and New Super Mario Bros. Wii arriving in the next two months, a whole bunch of new games for both the Wii and the DS will be arriving on SA's sunny shores in late October/early November.
The Nintendo DS role-playing game Pokemon Platinum has sold over 5.66 million units worldwide since its September 2008 debut in Japan, Nintendo and The Pokemon Company said Friday.

Nintendo announced today that beginning this Sunday, folks who place a pre-order on Pokemon Platinum at any participating retailers will receive a free Giratina Origin figurine. Crafted by Kaiyodo, the figurine stands at 2.75 inches tall.
