Nintendo released their annual report today, and included in it were sales numbers for the mainline Pokémon RPGs on Nintendo DS, as of March 2011. We thought our readers might be interested to see these.
A series of five surveys, four with extremely large sample sizes - more than one million have taken the Generation I recognition quiz on Sporcle, have effectively pegged the least recognizable Pokémon. Generation V has been taken 1,976 times, the least of all five. But according to the results, these are the five most-forgotten Pokémon across all five generations, in descending order:

Toys R Us has just revealed that they are partnering with Nintendo to distribute a new event Pokémon to fans! From January 30th, 2011 to February 5th, 2011 players of Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, and SoulSilver will be able to download Ashs Pikachu to their games.

It's a shame that this trailer is for a Pokemon film that's never going to get released. It's got violence and sex and guns and torture and swears - all the necessary ingredients for a proper film for grown-ups.
