It was a glorious day when developers realized they shouldn't try to cram console versions of games onto the comparatively underpowered DS. Action games with 3D graphics just don't translate well (Splinter Cell, for one), and even though Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest manages to emulate the PS2 game well enough, it's still a sleep-inducing trial of lever pulling and button mashing.

We don't want to cough quietly in the corner and suggest that Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest will just be a quick, summer-blockbuster cash-in, but that's easily the first thing that comes to mind. But with some two-player, cooperative action, this typical action-slasher might be more than the shallow sea it appears to be.
Clearly based on the upcoming film, Chest has you parading goofy-drunk pirate extraordinaire Jack Sparrow and his co-stars through 19 levels of switch-hitting ...

i am trying to get the game point where jack sparrow is over the fire pit. I have knowcked down the big guy three times in a row to deplete his energy but I can nto seem to get the energy bar completely depleted he jumps up and returns to his haven.
any hints?
