It's a light new video game release week, but most of the games won't break the bank. In fact, most of these games are all under $30 price point. Patapon 2 is available at retail stores for the PSP (includes downloadable code, not UMD) and from the PlayStation Network. Klonoa debuts on Wii, back from the PSone days. The new Nintendo DS Lite Green bundle with Personal Trainer: Cooking and a unique carrying case is available starting Sunday, May 3rd as well. Nintendo has sprung up a new DS Lite bundle. The Nintendo DS Lite Green Spring Bundle arrives just in time for spring, and for Mother's Day. From Nintendo: Ah, spring. The time when everyone's fancy turns to...video games. To celebrate the season of growth and rejuvenation, Nintendo announces the blooming of a new Nintendo DS system color: Green. The cool new color comes bundled with a hip carrying case and a copy of the Personal Trainer: Cooking video game, which serves as an interactive cooking coach. The new bundle will be available on May 3, which just happens to be a week before Mother's Day (hint, hint). Just like everyone else, moms are always looking for new and interesting meal ideas. Personal Trainer: Cooking includes more than 245 recipes from around the world, along with step-by step instructions for how to prepare them. It has a $149.99 MSRP.

Last year, Nintendo got the likes of Liv Tyler, Nicole Kidman and other female celebrities to promote the Nintendo DS. While those ads did nothing for non-casual gamers, it did at least get the point across that the DS can be accessible to anyone. This year, Nintendo has started a new promotional campaign staring Fred Willard, one of the Bob's from Office Space and a few other actors that may or may not really be Fred Willard's friends in real life to promote the DS and Personal Trainer: Cooking. This seven-minute long ad is full of awkward jokes, cringe worthy moments and some real bad acting.
