Today, PoPCap Games released a World of Warcraft-themed version of Peggle for free. It's a light new video game release week, but most of the games won't break the bank. In fact, most of these games are all under $30 price point. Patapon 2 is available at retail stores for the PSP (includes downloadable code, not UMD) and from the PlayStation Network. Klonoa debuts on Wii, back from the PSone days. The new Nintendo DS Lite Green bundle with Personal Trainer: Cooking and a unique carrying case is available starting Sunday, May 3rd as well.

Nintendo goes green with new DS Lite Green bundle (Personal Trainer: Cooking)

Nintendo has sprung up a new DS Lite bundle. The Nintendo DS Lite Green Spring Bundle arrives just in time for spring, and for Mother's Day.

From Nintendo:
"Ah, spring. The time when everyone's fancy turns to...video games. To celebrate the season of growth and rejuvenation, Nintendo announces the blooming of a new Nintendo DS system color: Green. The cool new color comes bundled with a hip carrying case and a copy of the Personal Trainer: Cooking video game, which serves as an interactive cooking coach.

The new bundle will be available on May 3, which just happens to be a week before Mother's Day (hint, hint). Just like everyone else, moms are always looking for new and interesting meal ideas. Personal Trainer: Cooking includes more than 245 recipes from around the world, along with step-by step instructions for how to prepare them."

It has a $149.99 MSRP.

Last year, Nintendo got the likes of Liv Tyler, Nicole Kidman and other female celebrities to promote the Nintendo DS. While those ads did nothing for non-casual gamers, it did at least get the point across that the DS can be accessible to anyone.

This year, Nintendo has started a new promotional campaign staring Fred Willard, one of the Bob's from Office Space and a few other actors that may or may not really be Fred Willard's friends in real life to promote the DS and Personal Trainer: Cooking. This seven-minute long ad is full of awkward jokes, cringe worthy moments and some real bad acting.

Friday 29 June 2007 Pet Alien, a puzzle game based on the CGI children's TV series of the same name, will hit DS this September - and we've got the first screenshots here. Kotaku: "The all-female Phoenix Wright musical debuted this month in Japan. Capcom and the Takarazuka Revue are once again collaborating for another Phoenix Wright song-and-dance.

"The decision to produce a sequel was based on the positive feedback from fans of the original," Capcom stated. A competition posted on the official Capcom website has set readers the task of petitioning for the developer to localize Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney 3 for the US, hinting at the coming of another sequel. This comes as a surprise considering no prior announcements have been made. Nintendo details Euro Q1 releases (Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney)

Hot on the heels of the European launch of the Wii, when Nintendo shifted some 325,000 units over the first two days, the company has announced the first post-launch wave of new releases for the system. The 26 Wii games Nintendo expects to ship in the first quarter of 2007 include WarioWare: Smooth Moves on January 12, Excite Truck on February 16, Kororinpa on February 23, and Mario Party 8 in March.

The Nintendo DS will be getting a massive 67 titles added to its European library over the first three months of next year, including Children of Mana on January 12, Star Fox Command on January 26, Actionloop on January 26, and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Justice For All, as yet undated but due sometime in the first quarter.

Nintendo has not yet listed the GameCube and GBA release dates. The full release schedule for the Wii and DS follows...

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Justice for All for the DS will be released Q1 2007, which is a remake of Gyakuten Saiban 2 for the GBA.

After skipping the GBA's part 3, Capcom moved on to Gyakuten Saiban 4 for the DS, which is an all-new game built from the ground up as a DS title. And looking at the below trailer it might have both Japanese & English language options in it like the original DS version did in Japan.
