Good news for Europeans, as today Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days has been released on the Nintendo DS. It's been quite a long wait since the game was initially revealed, but thankfully localisation didn't take too long in comparison to the North American version.

Final Fantasy XIII, Four Warriors of Light -Final Fantasy Gaiden-, and FFCC: The Crystal Bearers were not only the sights from the Square Enix booth, but also the sounds at TGS 2009. Square Enix released the Square Enix Music Sampler Vol. 4 at the show, featuring music from all three games as well as tracks from a Kingdom Hearts piano arrangement CD and The World Ends With You. It was available to fans who stopped by the SQEX music booth and made a purchase, and is the 4th entry into this special sneak-peek series of CDs that SQEX releases at TGS each year.

Square Enix's latest Kingdom Hearts title
is enjoying 'huge' pre-order levels, according to the firm.
Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (pictured)?is the first entry of the series to appear on DS and will be released on October 9th.

"Kingdom Hearts has always been incredibly popular. As the first new release into the franchise for three years, pre-orders are already way in excess of typical DS product," UK sales director Doug Bone told MCV.

Kingdom Hearts Union writes "Along with the recent trend of Pre-order bonuses surfacing for Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, some other names have added themselves to the mix.

The latest companies to pick up on the trend now include both Game Crazy and Best Buy. Unfortunately the news isn't quite so astounding as Game Crazy are offering the same postcards as GameStop, although their poster is of one of the 358/2 Days Wallpapers instead. Best Buy on the other hand are offering the same limited edition cover that Amazon got their hands on."

From Siliconera: I quickly realized that the character you choose in Mission Mode is going to be based largely on the way you play Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days. Some present a larger challenge than others. Some characters use brute force while others make better magic users. And then, there are some that are just plain hard to use.

Here are my initial impressions of the 13 members of Organization XIII in combat. Keep in mind, these are just my personal opinions, and a character that didn't work for me might end up becoming your favorite.

1. Xemnas: He may be first on the list, but he's the last character I tried using. His stats are generally above average, compared to the other members as a whole. Unfortunately, he doesn't have that same pizazz that Xigbar, Xaldin, Lexaeus and even Luxord or Vexen have. He's a great character who works well in practically every situation, but just not all that special. I thought he was good, but I didn't think he was great. Especially since his combo only lands three hits.
