Majesco Entertainment has released the first screenshots for Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel. Based on the highly anticipated theatrical release of the same name that opens Christmas Day, the game features The Chipmunks and their girl-group rivals The Chipettes as they rock the house in pulse-pounding concert locations around the world. Nintendo Europe has announced a 20th November date for Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of the Sky.

The very same DS game is due out on 12th October across the US.

Explorers of the Sky picks up where Explorers of Time/Darkness left off, delving once more into randomised dungeons in search of new creatures to train and then fight with.

Ubisoft have today announced that the DS version of upcoming title Assassin's Creed II, entitled Discovery, will release on November 20th in Europe. The game is being developed by Griptonite Games.

In the adventure, which branches off from the main game's storyline, Ezio travels to Spain to rescue fellow assassins being held under the guise of the Inquisition, only to uncover a Templar plot to sail west and discover the New World.

"Assassin's Creed II: Discovery is a great way for fans to experience a new chapter of the Assassin's Creed II storyline," shared John Parkes, EMEA marketing director at Ubisoft. "We think Nintendo fans will be impressed with all the unique features in the game designed specifically for Nintendo DSi and Nintendo DS."
