Activision Publishing has confirmed that DreamWorks Animation SKG, Inc.'s Madagascar Kartz videogame will be released on 6th November 2009 and October 27th 2009 in Europe and North America respectively on Wii, Nintendo DS, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, following the revelation of the title in Nintendo's recently released schedule. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and MTV Games today announce that LEGO Rock Band will feature the likeness of chart-topping UK band, Blur. Singer Damon Albarn, guitarist Graham Coxon, bassist Alex James and drummer Dave Rowntree will be shown in the game as LEGO mini figures as players perform the group's hit track, "Song 2."

A few weeks ago, Square Enix started a new type of cooperative Dragon Quest IX quest. These quests require that large groups of players team up to perform tasks. The first such quest was simple: get 500,000 players to submit their DQIX play data via Wi-Fi.
