DS News | Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith
Who cares that so far Episodes I and II have made Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure look like Citizen Kane because for the first time in about a decade, the Star Wars games are living up to expectations. After and with and already on the horizon, Star Wars Episode III Revenge of the Sith could finally be the game to put all those still-traumatic memories of Super Bombad Racing to rest with its mixture of sabre-rattling moves and fatal-Force powers. Which luckily, are both featured rather ...

DS News | Yoshi's Touch N Go
Take a dash of Wario Ware, a shot of the mini-games from Super Mario 64 DS and a slug of Yoshi's Island and, while the resulting cocktail might be as light as champagne, at least it will make you giggle like hyena on nitrous oxide. Which is precisely what Yoshi's Touch and Go should do too with its specifically designed DS levels. Blending horizontal and vertical scrolling action with two-player WiFi fun, this adventure demands that you protect a young plumber and his gormless green mate. So as ...

DS News | Rayman
Three things would survive the wanton destruction of a nuclear holocaust: cockroaches, bacteria and Rayman. That's right, he's coming back. Age cannot wither him and mass indifference does not bother him because Ubi Soft have announced that the floppy-eared furry fool will return next year, with stylus and wireless play for Nintendo DS in tow.But the limbless wonder is just one of the three games that the Gallic giant plans to pump out when DS appears over here. Also lined up for the same time ...

Namco have released the first few screenshots of Mr Driller DS - the new twin-screen incarnation of the massively underrated puzzle classic. The Tetris-in-reverse-style gameplay this time involves a nemesis who follows you on to each level and then sits menacingly at the top of the screen. Players have to avoid touching the nemesis while digging their way to the goal at the bottom of the screen.Like all the best puzzlers (Tetris, Bust-a-Move and, er, Dr Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine) it all ...

DS News | Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory
Ubisoft have furnished us with further details on Splinter Cell Chaos Theory's multiplayer and to all intents and purposes it's an updated version of Pandora Tomorrow's. However, there are significant tweaks and a couple of new modes to ponder, as well as an impressive PC and Xbox screenshot overload. Good times. The versus multiplayer borrows from Pandora Tomorrow with two teams going head-to-head. One team takes the third-person stealth role of Shadow Net spies, who have specific infiltration ...

DS News | Nintendogs
We've just obtained the first pair of shots of DS virtual pet game Nintendogs - although you can't help but think that they came up with the name first and the game design second. (What next: a fairground game called Nintendodgems?)Ahem. We first caught wind of Nintendogs at E3 in May but have had little in the way of firm details since then. As with most pet sims, you'll have to raise and look after your pooch and we wouldn't be surprised to see the game make use of the DS's built-in ...
