The Xbox 360 version of BioShock has topped the latest Swedish multiformat sale chart, which is otherwise dominated by PC games. The next five games on the chart are all PC titles - including the PC version of BioShock, listed at number 6. Interestingly, not a single Wii game is in the top 20 spots on the multiformat chart.

Much-anticipated Sega title The Club will miss the Christmas release window, after the publisher admitted that its release has slipped until next year.

The 360, PS3 and PC action title, which was developed by Project Gotham creators Bizarre Creations, was previously due for release at the end of this year.

Nintendo Co. on Thurs. said strong sales of the Wii home video game system and Nintendo DS handheld have fueled growth of the company's Pokemon franchise at U.S. retail.

According to NPD Group Inc., Pokemon Diamond is the best-selling game title of the year on any system, while Pokemon Pearl ranks as the No. 3 best-seller.

Sept 6, 2007 A Sony Pictures exec has been quoted as saying that he'd love Microsoft to join the Blu-ray revolution. "We would love to have Toshiba and Microsoft on board," Don Eklund, almost in charge of advanced technologies, said in an interview. "Toshiba can't keep dropping prices much more.
