Atari has announced that Namco Museum DS will be available in Australia and New Zeeland in March 2008. Namco Museum DS is a collection of arcade oldies but goldies including eight games (Pac-Man, Pac-Man VS, Galaga, Xevious, Dig Dug II, Galaxian, Mappy and The Tower of Druaga. Unique features include a screen mode selection that allows the use of different screen combinations according to whether players want to play with a view adapted to the Nintendo DS or in classic arcade style.
Featuring a graphical makeover, Namco Museum Remix includes five remixed Namco arcade games with new controls utilizing the Wiimote to whip, swing, twist and shake up the classics. In addition to the included legendary 8 titles, Namco Museum DS also features an updated version of fan favorite, Pac Man Vs. Never before available as a separate product.

Nanostray 2 has had quite a rough ride. The brilliant-looking sequel to the scrolling shoot-'em-up that launched in the early days of the DS has suffered one delay after another, but it finally looks like it's on the way.
Unfortunately while you can use Wi-Fi to upload your high scores to a worldwide leaderboard this time around, the game will still rely on local co-operative multiplayer.But Shin'en has added the new and promised touch screen control system. Apparently this will make for a completely new experience, and if it's one you don't like, you can always switch back to the Classic Control scheme...
