Square Enix has just revealed that Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days will be released in Japan on February, 2009.
Kingdom Hearts Insider writes: "The most recent issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly (EGM) featured an article entitled 'Nomura's Heroes' that reviewed numerous games Kingdom Hearts director Tetsuya Nomura is involved in, including Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and Birth by Sleep!
Here is the translated Famitsu DKS3713 demo impression of Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days.
Siliconera:
Kingdom Hearts Insider writes: "This information comes from a report in a gaming magazine posted by Japanese blog, Apocalypse. Nothing new on Coded, but some new stuff on Birth by Sleep and 358/2 Days. When images become available, we'll keep you updated."
Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days' teaser website has turned into an actual website now, with menus to click on and everything else you'd come to expect from a Square Enix website. It's still lacking in compelling content, however, aside from a downloadable wallpaper and a beautiful background song. (You can also see the Japanese character profiles for Roxas and Axel, as well as browse through a few screens in the "Story" section.)
Looks like Square Enix is staying true to their word to release Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days sometime this year: A new advertisement of the game, found inside Dragon Quest V's case, states the game is "Coming 2008". Perhaps Square Enix will finally reveal the release date during their private event, DKS3713; After all, they did state a demo will be available there.
Square Enix's Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days development for the DS is doing well and the game is scheduled for 2008, according to Famitsu and Dengeki.
Nintendo Dream's March issue features an interview with Nomura, who decided to share a bit of new Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days information. Here it is, hopefully scans will surface later on:
