The regularly updated database will allow you to search any artist and any song to find out which rhythm games it is in and to compare song lists for any major music-based video game.

The database currently indexes song lists for more than two dozen rhythm games, including a range of SingStars, Guitar Heroes, Dance Dance Revolutions, Rock Band, and lesser-known favorites such as FreQuency, Elite Beat Agents and the Donkey Konga series.

Over the last few months more information has been released, including the game's intended release date, and of course IGN's hands-on impressions with the unique touch-inspired experience. Today Ubisoft has announced its full song list for Jam Sessions, which includes everything from classic rock to reggae, country, R&B, and alternative rock.

It seems like the ideal application for the tactile goodness of Nintendo's current hardware, provided Atomic Planet can keep a steady hand, and doesn't let it all come tumbling down in a fit of drunken giggling.
