MCV: Disney has announced two new High School Musical games for console, due for release around Christmas.
Disney Interactive Studios announced today that the newest video game in the "High School Musical" franchise - High School Musical: Work This Out! for Nintendo DS(TM) will be available April 2008. High School Musical: Work This Out! allows fans of the popular Disney Channel movies to dive into the world of the Lava Springs Resort in an all new musical adventure game, featuring storylines extending beyond "High School Musical 2." For the first time on Nintendo DS, High School Musical: Work This Out! features all 10 songs from the movie, and allows players to take their favorite songs from the film on-the-go by using the Nintendo DS as a music player. This unique feature lets players listen to their favorite "High School Musical 2" songs even while the Nintendo DS is closed.

The game will use the already-established Homie figurines (some of which you'll find in food markets or any other stores) in a insane kart racer. There will be 10 of those ghetto characters to choose from to burn rubber in customized rides on the road.

505 Games has announced that it has shipped Hotel for Dogs, a video game based on the upcoming feature film, "Hotel For Dogs", from DreamWorks Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies. In the Hotel for Dogs video game, players enter the old hotel to help two siblings, Andi and Bruce, feed and entertain an adorable collection of canines by building amazing gadgets, playing with the pooches and keeping the dogs happy in their new hotel home. Navigating through 10 levels of gameplay, players must accomplish various goals to keep their beloved canines healthy and amused. Players will even explore the areas outside of the hotel as they attempt to locate and rescue additional pups in need of some major TLC. Hotel for Dogs is available for PC, DS and Wii.
