Hannah Montana, the Original Disney Channel Series that launched in 2006, has been viewed in more than 23 million homes across Europe. The second season of Hannah Montana launched on Disney Channels this past summer and aired on terrestrial/FTA channels in Italy, Germany, France and UK in Autumn/Winter 2007. Hannah Montana mania is gaining momentum across Europe, and Disney Interactive Studios will launch two new innovative music-based titles inspired by the popular series.
EA Casual Entertainment Label and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have announced that the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince video game will be released later this year to coincide with the film based on J.K. Rowling's sixth Harry Potter book.
Harry Potter's latest videogame outing continues to dominate the UK charts - no doubt thanks to the recent launch of the film to which it ties in and last Saturday's release of the final book in JK Rowling's witches and wizards series.
Harvest Moon creator and Marvelous Entertainment President Yasuhiro Wada told Game Informer Online that the next Harvest Moon title will take the series online. However, Wada did not say on what platform the game will be. Game Informer speculates a Wii or DS version is quite likely.
