The removal of the Nintendo DS game Chibi-Robo: Park Patrol from Gamestop's pre-order database raised many eyebrows and quickened the pulses of Nintendo fanboys. Had it been canceled?! Not at all, reported Nintendo. It was merely pushed back a few days and everything was going to be okay. Well, that's only partially true, as we've now learned that Chibi-Robo DS pre-orders were nixed for now obvious reasons.
Hot on the heels of the European launch of the Wii, when Nintendo shifted some 325,000 units over the first two days, the company has announced the first post-launch wave of new releases for the system. The 26 Wii games Nintendo expects to ship in the first quarter of 2007 include WarioWare: Smooth Moves on January 12, Excite Truck on February 16, Kororinpa on February 23, and Mario Party 8 in March.
Though the release of a new Disney film is normally followed by the release of its tie in game from Disney Interactive Studios, DIS has something else up their sleeve coming with its Prince Caspian DS game that is released concurrently with this week’s film. Also on the cart is DGamer, Disney’s online community that launches with the game.

Disney Interactive Studios today announced that The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, the game that takes players beyond the events of the upcoming Summer 2008 blockbuster film, will be released to retail stores on the 20th June in time for the film's 27th June 2008 release date.
