Jan 11, 2008 On the DS, MX vs ATV Untamed continues its bizarre trend of being a near-completely different game from other versions. The PSP version decided on inexplicably burying the content under mounds locked doors and added a superfluous free roaming environment. The DS version, for no reason we could see, takes the fun of blasting around through farmlands and desert canyons… and sticks the whole game inside stadiums. MX vs ATV Untamed is set to debut on Wii, PS3, 360 and DS in January 2008. The new offroader will feature a new Endurocross mode that THQ says, "pit[s] gamers against logs, rocks, mud-pits and more, illustrating the full potential of the franchise's cutting-edge Rhythm Racing physics engine." THQ announce MX v ATV Untamed, Coming to Nintendo for first time (News)

THQ have announced that their best-selling off-road racing franchise will be heading to a number of consoles, including the Wii, Nintendo DS, Xbox 360, PS3, PSP and PSP in 2008. It is the first time the franchise has appeared on Nintendo consoles. "We've taken the core MX vs ATV racing experience and tailored game-play to match the strengths of each individual gaming machine" says THQ. It's good to see THQ pony up with some Wii and DS titles outside there normally Nintendo portfolio (ie kids games).
