Metroid Prime: Hunters

Full-featured, online shooters just went portable

Take a look at the other Wi-Fi DS games out there. Mario Kart DS. Tetris DS. They're all "everyone can play" titles that hit a broad audience. Hunters is strictly for the hardcore, bloodthirsty gamers who live for fragfests. Moving Metroid from a slow-paced adventure to a nail-biting wrecking ball of explosions was a risky trick, but damn did it ever work.

You'll love
  • Intense multiplayer craziness
  • It's a technical marvel
  • Beefy solo game to trek through
You'll hate
  • Trading Friend Codes for Wi-Fi
  • Single-player gets kinda repetitive
  • People playing as Samus, always

Have it. Love it. Stuck in the story, no clue where to go next. But the multiplayer is fun. If only my friends had the game.
This game is equal to most of the console first persons, which amazes me. My friend just cant take it that it is equal to a first person 360 game.

Definetly a 9, maybe a 10.
