Metroid Prime Hunters - Tools of the Trade

At least now you know how you'll be dying in space

From the official Hunters website:

"Spire is thought to be the sole remaining Diamont, an ancient race of silicon-based life forms whose bodies are composed of organic rock. Spire travels the galaxy as a bounty hunter searching for information on the location, or fate, of the rest of his people."

Spire may have the best example of how a hunter's weapon gains special abilities in the right hands. The Magmaul blasts a wave of heat that, when used by Spire, actually sets the other hunter on fire, causing continued damage. His other form is the Dialanche, a compacted ball of blistering-hot rocks that can pummel the other fighters.
