Mage Knight: Destiny's Soldier

This is a dark destiny for strategy or Mage Knight fans

The crowning achievement of failure here, however, is the total lack of multiplayer. Skirmish would be nice, but no multiplayer in a DS version of an intrinsically multi-player tabletop game? Unforgivable. The DS has plenty of attractive options for strategy games, making this one way down the list of recommended titles, even with its strong license and plentiful, solo battle modes. Consider buying a few of the tabletop miniatures and playing the actual game instead.

You'll love
  • Lots of units
  • Mage Knight system's OK
  • Several mission types
You'll hate
  • Miserable interface
  • Bland presentation
  • Ugly graphics and boring sound
