Unfurl that DS, rip the stylus from its sheath and point it towards the heavens because here comes one game that'll let you shoot a flamethrower, pilot ships, jump hurdles and assault people of Eastern European descent. Konami Classics Series: Arcade Hits - featuring Contra, Gradius, Time Pilot, Track & Field, Rush'N Attack, and more - is coming to the DS to make you remember why you cared about Konami for any reason other than Solid Snake.

Konami is promising wireless multiplayer content, and even the ability to send demos to friends. If that weren't enough, there's also going to be a Jukebox where you can partake in the tunes from 15 games. It is recommended that you don big sunglasses and a hot pink sweatband, while hoisting the DS to your shoulder and bopping around awkwardly - otherwise a fully immersive '80's effect may not be achieved.
