Imagine Rock Stars

Edge writes: Ubisoft's Imagine casual game series has clocked one million annual sales. The publisher also reports that, in the four weeks up to Christmas, the collection of titles sold more than 300,000 units. The Imagine series consists of a broad range of job and life aspirations to play out, with Imagine Pet Vet, Imagine Wedding Designer, Imagine Dream Weddings, Imagine Teacher and Imagine Girl Band all providing glimpses into those roles and moments.

DsrkZero: Ubisoft has revealed they have snapped up Holly Willoughby and Fearne Cotton to promote their Imagine series of games. If you not heard of either celeb, then you must never watch TV at all ever. Memorable games in the series are Imagine Girl Band, Imagine Teacher and Imagine Movie Star, and the always amusing Imagine Babies.

Gamasutra reports that Ubisoft has announced a new game in its Imagine DS series for girls, titled Imagine Rock Star, which allows players to simulate a music career. In Imagine Rock Star, players select who plays the drums, guitar, bass and piano, and each instrument is controlled differently using the DS stylus. Each musician is customizable with various styles, and gameplay revolves around performing in concerts, earning money and climbing the charts. Players can also play wirelessly with up to four friends.
