IGN reports: "They have sold over 140 million figures and invaded toy stores, clothing racks, television and more. Now the popular Homies characters are getting ready to hit the streets, as Destineer today announced that Homie Rollerz for the Nintendo DS has gone gold.

Scheduled to ship in February 2008 and already available for pre-order at Gamestop and EB Games, Homie Rollerz is a fast-paced, mayhem-laden racer where players can pick one of the 10 most popular Homies, customize their slick rides, then trick, hop, and battle through courses with settings, shortcuts, and secrets as unique as the Homies themselves".

Destineer Studios is in the hood by announcing Homie Rollerz for the Nintendo DS. The game will use the already-established Homie figurines (some of which you'll find in food markets or any other stores) in a insane kart racer. There will be 10 of those ghetto characters to choose from to burn rubber in customized rides on the road.
