Easy Wins On Guitar Duel
To get a great/perfect score on Guitar Duels, keep strumming like a maniac and just holding down the notes. Since there is no progress bar or score multiplier, you wont lose points or fail. When you get to the battle notes however, you must strum normally or else you will not get the item.
Another trick is when you get your first item, save it until the next battle notes, then use it right before the notes. Your opponent will mess up (hopefully) and not get an item. Repeat this and you'll win.

Guitar Duels
If you are playing Guitar Duels with your friends, and if your opponent uses the Screen Flip icon on you, you might think that your unable to play until its over. If this happens to you, you can simply play like your playing the guitar but only on the other side. So when that happens, do that.
