I agree totally with this review. This game really is incredible. There is only one thing I would have to say about the rating, it should be 9.9, not 10. The one thing that would make this game a perfect 10, is if it actually had an online multiplayer. From the rumors I read, we were lead to believe there was one, only to find out that it's just for chatting and trading drugs and stuff. Lame. But despite that, this definitely is the greatest DS game ever made.

There is no such thing as a perfect game, therefore a 10 CAN'T mean perfect. What a 10 means is that the game is so good, everybody should play it, even if it's not their favorite genre. So a 10 game can have flaws, they just don't detract from the awesomeness.
By the way, you may have noticed that this very glowing review ALSO managed to dis GTA4:L&D, so I doubt GR is in Rockstar's pocket...

Not a perfect score, just our highest, silly. Can Slumdog Millionaire win best picture and still have a flaw? Turns out, yes! Go and look for any other 10 game and tell me it has no negatives.
All it's flaws are minuscule, completely outweighed by a billion hours of quality gameplay. I have zero problem saying it's the best thing currently on DS.
As for how much money we took, why don't you go ask every other site scoring it exactly the same?

Great review, and thank you, Chris, for joining us on the comments and responding to some of these jibes. On no other such website do the staff so regularly join the conversation. Often certain websites, who shall remain unnamed here, never get involved, no matter how much furore their comments cause.

my god, i cringe when i see people sucking up to the editors.
aside from that it is great to here R* have finaly cottoned on to some massive flaws i.e money. i cant wait for the struggle to maintain a healthy weapons stock!
you are right drama, you cant compare its score to the current gen champions as its pretty much running on a handheld ps1 supporting dual screens and a touch pad. im surprised it was made for it at all considering in most other respects the DS stands for donkey's shit.

Ah, well...my PS3 is broken anyway (immediately after the warranty ran out, natch) and I need a GTA fix.
I have no DS, but if I can find one for less than $150 (what Sony wants to fix my PS3) I might just pick this game up.

just because the games YOU like dont get perfect scores, dont bitch. Chris' review is a very nice one, keep in mind Chris didnt have the time to interview every gamer in the world as to what they would give it as a score.
and i think you're all being way too critical, its a fucking number. you havnt even played the game yet, Chris has, so i hold his opinion far above any of yours. That is until i play it myself.

10 isn't perfect, no. We don't have a 9.9 score (or any wishy-washy decimal-point scores, for that matter), so if we really, really like a game, we can give it either a 9 or a 10. And if the reviewer feels it's something really phenomenal, enjoyable and a must-own for anyone with the console in question, then it gets a 10.
In Chris' case, he felt that Chinatown Wars far outshines anything else on the DS, both in terms of fun and innovation. So the score is appropriate.

YAY go rockstar. see nintendo this is what we should be seeing on the fucking WII! now get off your asses cancel that super babysitter party waggle game shipment and encourage developers to make more hardcore games for the wii!
