GTA: Chinatown Wars and Beaterator announced for iPhone and iPod Touch

The portable crime caper and music maker are headed for Apple's gadgets later this year

It's turning out to be a busy week for GTA developer Rockstar. Aside from releasing the first trailer for The Ballad of Gay Tony, it's just announced the formerly DS exclusive Chinatown Wars is headed to an iPhone and iPod Touch near you later this year.

Rockstar has further revealed its music-making game Beaterator, which has already been announced for PSP, will also be coming to the two slinky, app-guzzling gadgets. It's official: Apple now own our lives.

I'm sure it'll work well with the iPhone and am more interested to see how they turn the touch screen games around for the normal PSP controls myself-it was such a great fit for DS that it's really sad so few people played the game.
