DS - Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars - Chinatown Wars Playable At New York Comic Con Rockstar Games is hitting up the New York Comic Con this weekend, giving players a chance to get some early hands-on time with Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars for the Nintendo DS.

Fans eager to see how the Grand Theft Auto saga plays out across two tiny screens need look no further that this weekend's New York Comic Con. Rockstar will be there throughout the weekend at booth #1563, allowing players to put Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars for the DS through its paces, stealing a few cars, shooting some hookers, and possibly selling some drugs. Fun! Of course you'll have to be 17 or older to play, so be sure to bring along photo identification, unless of course you're underage, in which case you should just mug someone who looks like a slightly older you. You're a minor who enjoys violent video games, so it should come natural!

DS - Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars - GTA: Chinatown Wars - more mini-games revealed As well as the now-infamous drug dealing mini-game in which you can sell the likes of acid, ecstasy and cocaine, there's also a petrol station one where you use the stylus to aim a petrol-pump nozzle to dispense fuel into bottles, then stuff them with rags to turn into Molotov cocktails.

One has you fiddling with a car's ignition system with a screwdriver to hotwire it, and another involves punching out the rear window of a car that's sinking in a harbour. There's also a screenshot which seems to show a game that has you inking in a tattoo with the DS stylus.

DS - Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars - "Nintendo didn't want us to make GTA for kids" - Houser Rockstar vice president Dan Houser has spoken out about how Chinatown Wars will be just as adult as other GTA games when it launches, despite its DS roots.

Talking in the latest issue of EDGE, Houser stated:

"Nintendo wanted us to make GTA, and we wanted to make GTA on their platform. They didn't want us to make a GTA for kids, and we weren't interested in making a game we wouldn't normally make. GTA is about stealing cars and shooting people - how could it not be an 18 rating? You couldn't do GTA without that 18 - it wouldn't feel like it's supposed to feel."
