You'll wish the developers would've made Eragon himself faster on his feet. Traversing the bland N64-esque landscapes is slow going. Of course, quickening his pace would've made a short game shorter, but gamers shouldn't carry have to carry the burden of that catch 22.
All that said, the DS version of Eragon is still a decent little button masher. It also does a far better job in presenting a coherent story compared to its home console brethren - a small bone, sure, but to the delight of fans, and it gives noobs a reason to keep playing.
