G4TV writes: "Microsoft hasn't revealed much more about Project Natal since its grand unveiling at E3, but its been well established that many developers have kits from Microsoft that have allowed them to start playing around with ideas for the device. Elite Beat Agents and Lips creator Keiichi Yano, co-founder of music games-driven Japanese developer iNiS, is very excited about Natal. Yano told Billy Berghammer in an interview this week that motion controls have a very important place in the future of music games and it sounds like he's going to be at the forefront of this."

Elite Beat Agents Sequel Announced (News)

IGN gave last year's Elite Beat Agents a 9.5, so you can bet They've been hoping for a sequel. Thier hopes were fulfilled today. Japan's Dengeki Online reports that a sequel to the unique rhythm title is being readied for Japanese release later this year.

In Japan, the sequel will be titled Moero! Nekketsu Rhythm Tamashii Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan 2 (the original was just Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan). The first part of the title translates to "Burn! Hot Blooded Rhythm Soul!".

Aside from the promise of multiplayer support for up to 4 players, details on the sequel have yet to be made public.

Ouendan 2, the sequel to the Japanese-only rhythm-action game that was so popular they ported it for us, is in the works according to Dengeki Online. Moero! Nekketsu Rhythm Damashii Osu! Tatakae!
