Kennosuke Suemura of Namco Bandai recently "borrowed" the melodies from "Battle with Magus" from Chrono Trigger and "The One Who Will Save The Earth" from Lufia II for his recent Super Robot Taisen K soundtrack. Worse, this isn't the first time this has happened. The same composer was supposedly involved in a similar incident involving music from Warcraft II when working on a previous title in the series. Namco Bandai has since released a formal apology and paid a settlement to resolve the issue. OSV has located a video showing the plagiarism in action.

Rember PSN user DimmuJed, who proposed to his girlfriend in LittleBig Planet? Of course you don't. DimmuJed is not going to official wed his fiance inside of LittleBigPlanet, and is inviting people to join as "witnesses".

This is a really cool idea, and it also reminds me of someone who previously proposed using a videogame. TheRealPfhreak hacked an area of Chrono Trigger, and filled it with characters and dialogue that related to him and his girlfriend. It's actually a pretty long level, and the entire execution was very well thought out on his part. He even noted that his girlfriend was losing interest in the game, so he rushed to make it so she wouldn't be suspicious when he forced her to play it!

Videogame Cover Band "The Red Wings" have released an MP3 download of their cover of Frog's Theme from Chrono Trigger to celebrate the upcoming release of Chrono Trigger DS, the first time the SNES classic will be released in their home territory.

The band is a UK-based rock group that takes classic music from videogames and performs them with guitars and other live instruments. They have a free album being released online via their website and MySpace later this year.
