Quantcast

Chameleon

Colored blocks are so over... this hue-shifting puzzler uses hexagons instead, but blends in too much with the competition

The thing is, that's about it. There are no skill levels, and once you've got the hang of it, you'll very rarely lose (unless playing a brainy buddy over DS wireless play) and will quickly cease to care. There are a couple different types of match; Goal matches have you racing to capture a specific hex tile, and King matches place large "Crown" pieces around the map and challenge players to surround them. But it's not enough to keep this Chameleon, even at its low price, from blending into the background a little too well.

You'll love
  • Priced to move
  • Feels fresh
  • Head to head single-cart play
You'll hate
  • Not much here
  • Only one skill level
  • Goal matches suck
