"The only details we got on Order of Ecclesia were in trailer form, showing off a hero whipping and slashing hordes of skeletons, zombies, and Frankenstein's Monster. This looks to be a complete return to traditional Castlevania, with side-scrolling monster hunting galore.

More time was spent on Castlevania Judgment, a Wii exclusive that you aren't supposed to call a fighter. The producers are terming the title a "3D versus action" game, which basically means you can fight in all dimensions. Considering there are two characters onscreen replete with health bars, a timer, and special attack meters, this one has all the earmarks of a fighter. But hey, six of one, half-a-dozen of the other."

The moon hinted in the last issue of Nintendo Power caused a huge stir among the gaming community. Theories were formed and the guesses were numerous based on DS and Wii titles. Unfortunately, the revelation of the mystery may disappoint some. The Nintendo Power moon is none other than Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia for the Nintendo DS. In the letters section, it was explained, "Well, see, the moon itself was a clue about this month's Castlevania cover game! UmÂ¿get it? (Gulp.) Okay, so we stretched things by hinting that clues could be fond "in" the moon - it was all Steve's faultÂ¿!"

Castlevania movie gets backed by $200m financing (News)

Tekken and Castlevania movie production company Crystal Sky Pictures has secured $200 million dollars in financing money, in part to green light a Castlevania movie.

According to Variety, the movie will be written by Paul 'Resident Evil' Anderson and directed by Sylvain White. Who made 'I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer.' Nice to see Crystal Sky is investing its money wisely, there.

Scans from the latest Famitsu have confirmed the speculation, as well as given a couple of details on the forthcoming new game. Namely its title - which is Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia - and also that it will support two players. Although it's unknown whether that'll be via local play or the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.

ESRB Listing Reveals New DS Castlevania Title (News)

A new listing on the Entertainment Software Rating Board's website indicates that a new title in Konami's long-running Castlevania series is heading to the Nintendo DS.

Entitled Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia, the title was also recently discovered in an entry in the US Patent and Trademark Office's database which revealed the game's title and logo.

Shacknews has reached Konami for confirmation, but has not heard back as of this writing.
