"Some might say last week, others the week before that, but for me, there is no competition: This week is the greatest week in games EVER! Mass Effect, you say? Well, how about History Channel: Battle for the Pacific? Super Mario Galaxy? I've got my copy of Space Ace HD right here, waiting for you. That's it, fellas. I'm blowing my holiday pay on these hot titles and maybe I'll pick up a copy of The Tuttles Madcap Misadventures: Starlight Starbright Charity Challenge just to play in my down time. Tell me, how do you compete with that?"
We've been waiting a long time for the follow-up to 1984's acclaimed Boulder Dash franchise. Well, maybe we didn't know we were waiting, but nonetheless, it showed up in the office, so we decided to see how the game has transitioned from our Apple IIs to the DS.

Boulder Dash Rocks, for those who don't remember, is a puzzler that continues the epic saga of the little guy who moves around, collects gems and tries to not get smashed by rocks. He's been modernized and is now a blue alien, and has ...
Retro classic Boulder Dash is heading for DS and PSP with the cleverly-titled Boulder Dash Rocks, complete with a new look. Now, although we haven't seen a diamond prospector in the flesh, we don't reckon they look like aliens (see below). Never mind though - at least Rockford's big head will make him look like that classic sprite we used to love on the Spectrum.
