Dragon Age: Inquisition to launch in Fall 2014

Features a giant open world and lots of player choice

A new trailer for Dragon Age: Inquisition was shown during EA's E3 2013 conference, confirming a Fall 2014 launch date for BioWare's next entry in the series of fantasy RPGs.

The CG trailer didn't show any gameplay, instead depicting a world enveloped in war. Dragons, nasty skeleton things, and other evil beings were assaulting cities, and--wouldn't you know it--Morrigan herself challenges your character to take up arms because ONLY YOU can save all of civilization. Or something like that. In any case, Aaryn Flynn, general manager of BioWare Edmonton and Montreal, promised that Inquisition would deliver a "vast open world" in which your choices will affect the story and the environment around you.

I have played all the Dragon Age games. Unfortunately, Dragon Age, as a franchise, will never be able to recover the heights of glory it once possessed in my heart for two reasons: 1. Dragon Age 2 2. The Witcher 2....and now 3

I'm going to sound like a total nitwit when I say this, but I can't stand babysitting my comrades in the first game (I haven't played the second). Something like DnD or Xcom is one thing, because it's more like chess, but I had fiddling with the coding-esque system to get my damn people to freakin' move. But alas, I think I'll brave it and get used to it. This trailer looked mighty awesome.
