Dragon Age II Achievement Guide

Tale Within a Tale

5 Points
Bronze Trophy
Listened to Varric begin his tale of the Champion of Kirkwall.

You will get this near the beginning of the game as Varric begins to tell your tale.

Talented

5 Points
Bronze Trophy
Upgrade a spell or talent.

To get these measly 5 points, you will just need to upgrade a talent or spell that you already have selected. The upgrades are the small diamond selections beside the larger talent and spell diamonds and circles. When you select one of the smaller ones to upgrade the skill, you will receive this.

That Thing Has Legs

25 Points
Bronze Trophy
Found and killed a Varterrel.

The Varterrel is found in the Varterrel Hunting Grounds during Merril’s companion quest, “Mirror Image,” after completing Blackpowder Courtesy in Act 2.

Treasure Hunter

25 Points
Silver Trophy
Opened 50 chests.

This will come in no time at all, as not only do chests count towards it, but also piles of rubble, bones, and the like. Once you have inspected 50 of them, you will be rewarded with this.

Unstoppable

50 Points
Silver Trophy
Complete a full year in Kirkwall without any party member being knocked unconscious.

For this you need to survive a full act without any party members hitting the ground. The strategy is to save before and after each battle and if you fall, reload and try again. Act 3 is the shortest, but it also has some seriously tough battles, even on casual setting. Act 1 is longer, but is far less difficult by way of enemies.

Weapon Master

25 Points
Bronze Trophy
Mastered a weapon style.

Fill out all of the selections in one talent or spell ability and you will get this.

The Ultimate Reward

Platinum Trophy
Unlock all other Trophies.

The Prince achievements being glitched pissed me off. I don't know why more outlets haven't been reporting on a big game's DLC having a rather large glitch.

There should be an achievement for not buying this game.

@joshuagutstadt Is english your third language? Please research before you start posting. I don't want to spoil anything for anyone but there is very specifc requirements for both achievements. @db1331 I like it but boy they should have spent another year on it. You replay the same coast/mansion/cave over and over and over.......

Boy this game even LOOKS like a rushed money grab. Every screen shot here looks so boring, and graphically the game looks about 3-5 years old.

Sorry for the double post but this will save a lot of headache for some people. Did the author of this even play the same game? It is not as simple as just "siding" with the mages or templars when trying to get the two achievments. You have to do very specific things.(Just look up better guides instead) @Jeff McAllister Do me a favor and research before you post this garbage. You are costing people pointless playthroughs with no rewards because of your sloppy guides.

It should be pointed out that all of the Prince DLC achievements are glitched. At least for me and everyone else on the forums. Also for the crafting resource achievement it says you only need one of each kind when in fact you need all of them. I have collected ones i missed from the black emporium and still it hasn't popped. PATCH PLEASE BIOWARE! This is beyond sloppy and unacceptable.

Can this guide be more vague? Just for example, how about you explain the situations where you would have to side with mages or templars. You writing that you have to side with them is pretty obvious - like 99% of you repeating the achievement description.

Id love to read this but can I please have a spoiler-free trophy guide.
