Deus Ex: Human Revolution Easter Eggs

  • Robocop Easter Egg

    Entry location: Detroit Police Station
On the third floor of the Police Station, there is a room (it is the second big square room at the bottom right of the map on the thrid floor) with a computer that can be hacked. When you go onto the computer you will see the name Murphy. Once the computer is hacked you will find out that it belongs to Alex Murphy(aka Robocop). The first e-mail is from his wife, Ellen, who asks him if he could come home early and goes on to mention Officer Lewis, who was Murphy's partner in the movies. Also adding to this egg is that the city the game takes place in is Detroit, the same city the crime-fighting cyborg is based!

  • Final Fantasy Easter Egg

Entry location: Sarif Headquarters- Technical Lab
In the Technical Lab, in Pritchard's office, there is a poster of Square Enix's next upcoming game, Final Fantasy XXVII. There is a graphic of the game's heroine as well. The sad thing is, this will probably happen sometime in the future, with or without cyber augmentations.

  • Forever Alone Easter Egg

Entry location: Court Gardens- The Hacker's Apartment
When you go to Hengsha's Court Gardens to track down the hacker, there are a load of sticky notes in his apartment with miscellaneous messages on them. Some of them have a phone number with the 'Forever Alone' face from Rage Comics on it. If you don't know what that is, Google it.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution Glitches

  • Unlimited Money and Extra XP

    Entry location: Exploit
When you tranq or stun an enemy he goes to sleep. If he is discovered by another enemy he gets woken up. The enemy that does the waking kneels down to do it, once the waking animation is over and the fallen enemy starts to awaken, dart the alert enemy and you will keep gaining xp. You can do this with 2 or 3 enemies as long as you have ammo for the darts or stun packs. But ammo is limited right? Nope. That's where the money cheat comes in. You can buy a ton of ammo and do this from the start of a mission and use all your darts/tranqs to rack up killer xp.

For the money glitch. After you complete the first mission, you get to explore the city. Notice all the cops around carrying those nice expensive weapons? Yep, your gonna farm them using the tranq/dart technique not for xp but for thier weapons, because when you do a non-lethal takedown they drop thier gun. Here's the kicker, if you go pick up their gun before they wake up, they spawn a new gun. I bet you see where this is going. The guns are worth about $600 each. Basically, knock out 3 or 4 cops, loot thier weapons lure a cop over to them and repeat. Make sure if you already have the same gun type in your inventory you go sell it to the gun merchant before looting the other ones as you will just get the ammo. Alot of back and forth but after 15 minutes or so you can easily have plenty of cash.

Using the cash exploit nets you the money to stock up on darts/stun rounds to use for the xp glitch. Buy all the vendor has, save and reload and he has full stock again.
