Dinklebot vs Nolandroid - who wins?
Destiny's year two patch is live and everything's changed. The most obvious thing of course is that Dinklebot's out and Nolandroid is in, with Nolan North replacing Peter Dinklage. We've already heard some of North's new lines before, but how do the two stack up side by side?
I have to say I might actually prefer Dinklebot. His delivery was flat but there's a gravitas to it. North, on the other hand, sounds a little like C3PO's cheeky younger nephew. Scrappy-PO, if you will.
I like Nolan North as a rule, he's a lot more versatile than most people give him credit for and doing plenty of stuff where no one recognises him. Here, though, there's a jaunty tone that changes the whole flavour of the game. Instead of doom, gloom and a potentially painful death for all humanity, it now sounds like you're first in line at the water park and Nolan can't wait to get on the rides. Thoughts?
