Dead Like Me lives again

Dead Like Me is one of those series that's now filed under "gone before their time". But now the show, about a teenage girl (played by Ellen Muth) who is enlisted as a grim reaper after her untimely demise, is being given a new lease on life with the announcement that a DVD movie has been greenlit.

Few details have been announced as yet, so it remains to be seen whether the original cast will also be returning, but MGM have stated that they've signed a director, Stephen Herek, whose previous directorial credits include Critters and Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure.
