Dead Space for iPhone goes on sale for half-price, plus a chance to win a free copy!

So the other day we struck a menacing pose and flexed our plasma cutters in the direction of EA Mobile and BAM! Dead Space for iPhone will be on sale for half-price for 24 hours, starting noon PDT today (like, now, at the time this is posting), and then again this weekend as part of a larger sale.

We knew a few of GR's intimidating man-bodies would make 'em cave, and that definitely happened, but also, the sale is part of the publisher's Players' Choice promotion, in which GR and other outlets nominated their favorite games from EA's iOS selection and tasked their communities with deciding which should go on sale.

So when was GR's big vote? Well, it was more of a big "asking around," but don't write an angry letter to the mayor of videogames just yet - you already know we picked a winner if you've ever touched the awesome iOS Dead Space game.

We really do think the game kicks ass, so marketing effort or not, we're happy to give Dead Space a few more hurrahs for EA's price-slashing promotion. And in addition to Dead Space, this weekend's finale sale will cut the prices of every game chosen this week.

On top of the sale, EA Mobile has given us 10 codes redeemable for free copies of the game, and while we thought about analyzing them for potential hidden Unitology (or possibly CIA) messages, we've decided that we should probably just give them away to you, our esteemed, discerning readers.

Just head to GamesRadar's Facebook fan page and 'Like' our contest post by 5 p.m. PDT today to enter. Winners will be picked randomly, and if you win, we'll private message you with your code - just be sure in advance that you're able to receive messages to non-friends, because if not, we won't have any way to contact you and your code will be sent to our decryption department for processing/destruction.

This game is amazing, at times I think I am playing the console version. At $2.99 I dont really know, think i'll wait for it to be a buck or so. With that said, I have to recommend the following game called CHUPACABRA which is FREE for a limited time. Be sure to get it NOW on itunes.

Oh, and there's already 264 likes? Considering how empty the comments sections are when it comes to mobile game articles, I thought I would have had an easier chance at winning.

Thrilled to see you also picked Bad Company 2 as well. I'm also grateful that you were the only guys who didn't have a single HD app. I have an Itouch, not an Ipad, so that's nice.

Still not worth it. I hated the controls. If it was released on the psp or something with a better controls it would be worth it.
