Dead Space 3 Awakened DLC launches March 12

Dead Space 3's first DLC will roll out of bed on March 12. Awakened, which occurs after the events of the main game, puts a particularly gross cult of Unitologists between Isaac Clarke (as well as John Carver in co-op, naturally) and sweet escape from the frozen death that is Tau Volantis.

Unitologists all await convergence, but these cultists are a bit impatient; they have the unhealthy habit of unifying human and necromorph through bonesaws and stitches. Players will find Awakened a more claustrophobic and tense experience than the main game, Polygon reports, with Clarke's dementia returning in crippling force.

Awakened will launch concurrently across PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 with a $10 asking price.

Pretty excited for this! I'll need something to do other than NG+ while I wait for my friend to finish the first two Dead Spaces so we can co-op.

MMmmmmm yessss.... I'm actually 100% OK with Dead Space DLC when it's actual CONTENT.

Bringing back the horror is good.
