Spyro, the much-travelled purple dragon, will be returning this autumn for all present generation consoles, GBA and DS in Vivendi's The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning. The game apparently "uncovers the true origin of Spyro the Dragon as he evolves into a living, breathing weapon of explosive destruction," which suggests that the action will be more dynamic than we've come to expect from the aging platform hero. The second LEGO tie-in from the studio (and with LEGO Indiana Jones on the way) carries the same old PR tag-line, with TT hoping to take both franchises "and make something unique."
