Stonefather’s Vale

Boatman Coin #1

(Stonefather’s Vale) After speaking with the makers and leaving their vicinity via the northern gate, you’ll soon come upon a pool. The coin is clearly visible underneath the water’s surface.

Boatman Coin #2

(Stonefather’s Vale) As soon as you enter this vast expanse from Tri-Stone, hop on Despair and head east to the closed gate. The coin is to the left of this gate.

Book of the Dead Page #1

(Stonefather’s Vale) You’ll find this in the northernmost recess of Stonefather’s Vale. You may also spot a stone high on the cliff to your right, but worry not, for you cannot yet reach it.

Boatman Coin #3

(Baneswood) Enter Baneswood from the west and check the southwest corner of the map. You’ll have to leap off the high ramp to grab this mid-air coin.

Boatman Coin #4

(Baneswood) This coin may be out of reach seem out of reach at this point in the game, but if you run up the wall directly below it and jump away, Death will automatically collect it.

Book of the Dead Page #2

(Baneswood) Check the ground directly behind the giant statue in the eastern part of the area.

Boatman Coin #5

(The Nook, 1st fl) Enter The Nook via the door at the north of Baneswood. Ascend the stairs inside and immediately turn around to your left. Destroy the barrels to reveal a coin.

Boatman Coin #6

(Baneswood) As you pass through the eastern trail leading out of Baneswood, look high to your right. You’ll notice a floating coin; jump from the ledge to claim it.

Boatman Coin #7

(The Charred Pass) As soon as you’re told (by on-screen text) that you’ve entered The Charred Pass, look inside the massive hollow log to your left. There’s a coin inside.

Boatman Coin #8

(The Charred Pass) Look for a flooded area in the central northern section. There’s a well at the center; dive all the way down to the bottom then look up to find a coin. (This screenshot was taken underwater.)

The Cauldron

Boatman Coin #9

(The Cauldron, 1st fl) In the room where you must leap across the river of lava, look for a coin at the edge of a descending ramp on the near side.

Boatman Coin #10

(The Cauldron, 1st fl) Soon after you find the dungeon map, you’ll be in a circular arena fighting your first Stalker. Destroy the barrel at the north end of the room to reveal a coin.

The walkthrough's been great so far, except it should be noted that the elevator room for Mystic Stone 13 isn't a mandatory room. If anyone updates this, that should be added in..

as you walk into where the statue is in the picture go up the climb wall to right as you go up the stone is to the right in the direction that you came in

Made an account just to say thanks. Your guide actually has pictures and isn't a 9 hour video of non-sense; thus making this guide, the best guide.

Glad it helped you! Thanks for the kind words.

The Dead Plains map misses out Page 22 from what I can see. May just be hidden away somewhere.
  • tom-manning - September 4, 2012 4:16 p.m.

Oh nevermind, it's on the Forglands map

In the Wandering Stones quest does anyone know where Oran's right leg is?
  • itchay-gulay - August 29, 2012 7:34 a.m.

I can't get the stone of resistance # 3. there is a fence blocking my way.
  • Shinnok789 - August 30, 2012 12:14 p.m.

itchay-gulay to get the stone of resistance #3, you must first go across the bridge, towards The Maw as you look on the world map. After you've crossed the bridge, to the left will be the entrance to Sentinel's Gaze, and to the right are some ruins. On top of those ruins there is a statue with a beam of light that you will have to rotate. That will open the grates near the statue you found in The Breach. The rest of the mistery i leave to you :)
  • itchay-gulay - August 31, 2012 7:23 a.m.

thanks. the guide didn't mention it and the numbering threw me off, imagine my chills when I saw that my game and the guide didn't jive with each other at that time.
  • Shinnok789 - August 26, 2012 9:02 a.m.

Also the Book of the dead page #40 is not on the map.
  • Shinnok789 - August 26, 2012 9:21 a.m.

And the Relic #15(etu-goth) appears 2 times on the map, once where it should be and then again in the middle of the map hanging in the air :) (sorry for posting so much :) )
  • Shinnok789 - August 26, 2012 6:46 a.m.

I found a relic in the Ivory Citadel, and i dont't see it on the map. After you get the 3 waters flowing, the pool of corruption clears and you can finaly get to the central door and open it. When you go though it you arrive in a chamber with 2 big "angel on one knee leaning on a sword" statues to the left and right and 2 Voidwalker surfaces on the wall in front of you. The relic is behind the left statue, near a dead angel on the floor.
  • Matt Hughes - August 26, 2012 6:27 p.m.

Thanks for pointing out these errors, Shinnok. We'll have them fixed ASAP. The relic you speak of in the Ivory Tower is in the walkthrough, but it will be added to the map. The other mistakes will also be fixed.
  • Matt Hughes - August 26, 2012 6:33 p.m.

Scratch that, the image in the walkthrough is incorrect as well! We'll get it sorted :) Thanks again.

Am I missing something for Stone of Resistance #3, or should it be later in the guide? I'm up on the roof of the Breach, but there are bars blocking me from the east side where this stone is at.
  • jeffsore - August 24, 2012 9:45 a.m.

Just figured it out. Just after collecting Soul Arbiter’s Sacred Scroll #5, there is a lantern-statue which must be turned 180 degrees in order to lower the bars. I suggest that the Resistance Stone #3 should be moved to just after Arbiter's Scroll #5.
