Dark Age of Camelot: Labyrinth of the Minotaur

Mythic also plans to release a Catacombs bundle containing the first four expansions to help casual players catch up.  But Yarbrough says the team’s current focus is to streamline the interface and "remove frustrations." Aquatic combat, for example, was considered clumsy and "non-intuitive," with players constantly bobbing to the surface in mid-spellcast, so they retooled it in a January 10th patch. Many other enhancements will be subtle and cosmetic, like softening the angles of steep inclines and generally making battles faster-paced.

Yarbrough attributes the game's long success to the team's commitment to keeping performance as hiccup-free as possible (Camelot, it's worth recalling, had a smoother technical launch than any other MMO to date, including WoW). "We're really the only MMO to support massive amounts of people in the same place at the same time. The virtue of being around so long is having ample time to perfect that."
