Daredevil fills out six supporting roles

Daredevil has added a raft of supporting players to its ensemble cast, with the streets of Hells Kitchen positively groaning with ne’er-do-wells for Matt Murdock to tackle.

Rob Morgan will appear as Turk Bennett, a small-time crook who will be familiar to fans of the comic-books, while another Daredevil regular, Melvin Potter (described as a “machinist caught between a rock and a hard place”) will be played by Matt Gerald.

Moving away from the source material, Peter Shinkoda will play Nobu, a Japanese businessman and ally of Kingpin, while Nikolai Nikolaeff and Gideon Emery will appear as Russian brothers Vladimir and Anatoly. Wai Ching Ho rounds off the new additions as the powerful Madam Gao…

There’s plenty of excitement surrounding Daredevil following the release of the recent trailer, and it’s nice to see that there will be plenty of references to the comic-books for longstanding fans of the character to watch out for.

Co-starring Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio and Rosario Dawson, Daredevil will debut on Netflix on 10 April 2015.
