Criminal Girls punishment chamber abuses the mosaic filter

New details and images for Criminal Girls have filtered in. The NIS published JRPG for the PSP charges you with the task of rehabilitating young miscreants in an all-female prison in hell. The preview comes from Dengeki PlayStation, which reveals that the healing massages and spanking sessions in the prison’s punishment room will determine how your characters behave in battle.

Above: Kisaragi in the ‘punishment room.’ This is where you’ll need to act responsibly by rehabilitating your prisoners with spanking sessions and healing massages

Above: Fascinating…

And that’s pretty much it, other than the ridiculously gratuitous screenshots that shows the game abusing the mosaic filter to the max. Criminal Girls is scheduled release on November 18 in Japan. Unfortunately, a western release for the punishment RPG has not been announced.

I wish more games like this were here. I really liked Record of Agrest War. (For both my reasons: "Story", and Gameplay) PS: I have it on PS3 I decided not to buy the Naughty Edition.

Instead of perverted, this seems more humorous. The amount of mosaic seems to be hinting to silliness and making fun of hentai. It's NIS, they do that a lot.

Why do they all have to be little girls? What is wrong with busty 30 somethings?

when you think about it i dont see how this could get higher then a t rating since everything is censored anyway.

I almost regret selling my PSP...almost
  • Felixthecat - September 11, 2010 10:13 p.m.

I'll import this as soon as possible.

Japan is truly the land of lollipops and happiness. I need to learn Japanese and go sometime, or at the very least let The Vapors turn me Japanese.
  • ZiegZeon - September 11, 2010 3:02 p.m.

Seems to me like their using that huge mosaic as joke. It is being made by NIS so it is most likely tongue in cheek.
  • Martfish - September 11, 2010 8:06 a.m.

Seriously?!? There's thousands of single girls out there, probably willing and able......go and talk to them!
  • ranzatsu - September 11, 2010 6:07 a.m.

This is kinda like softporn, right? It's like an RPG, from what I've heard, but this is ridiculous. An odd way of punishing. I suppose beating them with a paddle would work better.
  • bar1scorpio - September 11, 2010 5:58 a.m.

Well, at least it's for PSP, so even if it gets released here, no one will play it. I'm kinda surprised it wasn't for Playstation Move.

@ThatGuyFromTV Because of legal reasons, they have to put the filter in, if I remember correctly, Japan is much more strict about blurring things than america is. And anyway. It's called Rule 34, and so what if it is hentai, it's what people will buy.
  • ThatGuyFromTV - September 11, 2010 4:28 a.m.

Again, I don't think this'll be anything more than hentai. And if it's nothing more than hentai, why would they bother putting the mosaic filter in there? I'm sure they know that the internet will intervene with their own artwork... if they haven't already.
  • crazytar - September 11, 2010 3:50 a.m.

@Chickenfoot all the more reason for it to be released here
  • Chickenfoot - September 11, 2010 3:41 a.m.

I think Jack Thompson would die if this came to America. XD

Also, why did they have to bring the censoring all the way to her pigtails? It's not like they are shaped like penises...
  • 510BrotherPanda - September 11, 2010 2:53 a.m.

I liked that girl Tomoe with the boobs in your last article, Tyler. I like gentle-looking boob girls, I guess.
  • Axcle - September 11, 2010 1:42 a.m.

Would've been better on DS. "Tap Screen to spank!"

I prefer the black bar of uselessness over the blur of death. Also 5thd.

the mosaic filter of evil. maybe it will disappear if it reaches the west... which is unlikely
