Crackdown 2's lead designer shows you how to Deathmatch

We thoroughly enjoyed co-op in the first Crackdown, but it was sorely lacking a competitive multiplayer mode. The developers were all too aware of this shortcoming, and had it high on their list of new features for Crackdown 2. And here it is! As revealed in our tell-all interview, old-school Quake exerted a strong influence on the design of Crackdown 2’s multiplayer. At our demo last week, we had several of the franchise’s lead designers on hand, and talked Creative Director Billy Thompson into sitting in on our station so we could capture the deathmatch carnage from his point of view. So sit back and watch the master at work as he lets the doggie off the leash in frantic Agent on Agent action.

    I love the guy in the background commenting on your performance. It was ok in the first game, but this one makes me laugh.
