Getting public enemy for ten minutes

To get the achievement survive for ten minutes with public enemy status in a public free roam game go to the military in Escelera you will need at least two people. Once there shoot one solder and barricade yourselves in the base the solders occasionally glitch through walls but its a safe and easy way to get the achievement.

While in Blackwater, talk to the stranger who is a pregnant woman in the church. She will ask you to go and ask her husband for some money to support her baby. He will challenge you to a duel..Instead of dueling him, hog tie him and take him to a remote location. Shoot him, take his 200 dollars and when you return to the bar he will still be there challenging you to a duel. You can repeat this as many times as you want.

Win at Armadillo Poker easily.

This is a way to win at poker without losing any of your money. Start by buying the room above the poker room, and save your game there. Go start a game of poker, and bet high (usually about half your chips on the first hand). Generally (at least it seems to me) 1-2 (depending on if there are 3 or 4 players in the game) of the players will fold, and the other one will call your bets and sometimes even go all in. Here is where the luck kicks in, if you both end up going all in, and you lose, just reload your game and try again. If you win, however, you then have half the chips and a huge advantage over the last 1 or 2 players. From then on, just bet really high all the time and they will fold a lot, and they are really stupid, so when they do go all in, they generally go all in with nothing more than a high card.

Remove all gloves for outifts

To take your gloves off all your outfits get the Elegant Outfit, put it on, then save the game, and then turn off your system. When you turn your system back on all the outfits should be glove-less. To get your gloves back on, play Five Finger Fillet with an outfit that is supposed to have gloves.

When you go back to the house you can change outfits and save there.

Easy Bear Kill for Hunting Mission 8
Entry Location:
To help kill the bear with only using the knife, be on a horse and swing the knife at it. You are able to circle around the bear and out run it if necessary. You will stand a must better chance on a horse.

Top Level Horse Locations

The three three star horses need to be found and broken before you can buy them.
The Kentuckey Saddler is gold colored and is found around twin rocks near armadillo, though you get one as part of a mission for Bonnie
The Hungarian Half-Bred is white and is found in Mexico just South of Punta Orgullo.
The American Standardbred is black, and is found in the great plains near Blackwater.

Easy way to get the Most wanted achievement

Once online go to the base where the Mexican army base is and go inside. Go to the left and you will see a plant there. Jump into it, crouch and move both the camera and the camera around and you should be transported below the mansion and once there you can shoot out but nobody else can shoot you in there(note: use only when nobody in the session has unlocked dynamite or they are far away from the spot as dynamite can kill you there)

Many people think that if you use dead eye you don't get the challenge, because it reloads your weapon automatically, you do! You can't reload your weapon manually (Pressing (B)). So be careful backing out of menus.

Avoid Being Knocked Down

When fighting animals that can knock you down like the bear or cougar, just aim and shoot. when it rushes you, move left or right and press x. You will roll sideways and usually avoid the damage altogether but if it hits you, you wont fall down giving you the opportunity to run or use medicine.

Begin by committing enough evil actions to get to maximum negative honor.(Desperado)(Note: I find Killing law men the fastest way to do this; make sure to have a pardon letter as you will have a HUGE bounty if you do this.)
Step 2 kill your horse however you choose & make sure there are no other deeds in your satchel.
Step 3 whistle.
Congratulations you should now have the "Dark Horse." You will loose it if you become neutral or good again.

If you ever want to just skip the ingame skinning sequence just simply park your horse on top of the animal you want to skin and hit "Y" to skin. The animal wont look like it was skinned but you get the materials from it.

Infinite Horse Stamina

When on your horse, jump and press select. The horse must be in mid-air. Find an apple on the consumables menu, and press Triangle to view info. Return to the game, and your horse's stamina bar will refill without having used an apple.

Free Throwing Knives

After equipping, and drawing your dynamite, go into dead-eye mode, and mark someone. The dynamite will fly through the air and chase the target, as long as there's no obstacle in it's way. *It generally works better if your up higher than your target*

Go to Armadillo and run around the building behind the stage coach and sometimes there will be either a skunk or raccoon there and it will run for the wilderness giving you plenty of time to kill it and then skin it.

Access West Elizibeth / Tall Trees Area Early

Waterfall above the Macfarline Ranch
Go to the waterfall in Tanner's Span above the MacFarlane ranch. Walk up to the edge of the waterfall and Tall Trees will appear on top of your screen indicating you are technically in the area. If you can manage to get arrested you will be carted off to Blackwater from there you can explore the northern part of the map. To go back, get killed or just hop off the unfinished bridge in Theive's Landing.
Note that this does not always work in currently patched version of the game.
