How to beat "Silent Avalanche" on hard

Before you go on the mission, get an AC that has very good armor and equip it with two grenade launchers (on the back) and any other weapons on your AC's arms that might be good against Normals. When you start the mission, try to destroy all the sniper-type Normals without getting damaged too much. Once you destroy every Normal, two AC's will appear: Helix I & II. Destroy Helix 1 first (the one with two legs),so you don't have to deal with her later, then destroy Helix 2 with the remaining ammo you got left. If you complete the mission, you'll get a VERY powerful weapon that can destroy an AC in one shot, when it is fully charged, that you can use in some hard missions.
