Easy Touchdowns in Oklahoma Drill

Use this when in the spring drill "Oklahoma" as the running back. When you start the play, sprint towards the offensive lineman's right shoulder. Right before you get to him roll to the left. This should throw off the linebacker. Another way is to go to the right or left side as you run towards the lineman. When you see the linebacker commit to the side you are on, juke to the other side and you should be able to take it right in for a Touchdown. If you do this correctly in Race for the Heisman Mode, you can get offers from big schools.

The Ultimate Offensive Play

This play is flawless if you have a scrambling QB (like Vince Young from Texas or Troy Smith from Ohio State) but still works most of the time if you're a pocket type. The play is in the Ace - Big Twins set. It is called Post Cross. At the line hot route your RB so he goes to the TE side. For best results, have your slot WR run to the weak side of the field (if you're on the right side of the field go to the left sideline, vice versa). Then roll your QB in the direction that the slot WR is running. Here you will see if the Defense is in zone or man to man coverage. If zone, the slot will have found a hole in coverage so you laser the ball in to him. If the coverage is man-to-man (this is where it helps to have a fast QB) just take off up field for an easy gain.

Easy HB Breakaways

If you want to get a huge gain with your halfback, call a play where your halfback is supposed to run up the middle. When your offense goes to the line of scrimmage, check where the secondary and the linebackers are. if they are on the same side where you are running, click the hot route button ( triangle ) then click left or right on the directional pad, pointing away from the secondary and linebackers. This will flip the play and your halfback will run to the other side of the field. If you are away, your halfback might not hear you, so do it twice just to make sure. When you get the ball you should be able to bust outside for a 10-20 yard gain. If one of the linebackers is coming at you while your still running to the sideline, juke to the inside of the field and you should blow right by him.
