Go to the White Konami screen and press Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, B, A, Start. A scream from Danny Way will indicate correct code entry.

Finish the game using all normal character and get 100% coins collected. Then highlight a character below and press Circle to get the secret character indicated:
